Crown Estate approves new Windsor RFC clubhouse designs
WINDSOR RFC Centenary Redevelopment Project 3 of 3

3. Crown Estate approves new Windsor RFC clubhouse designs

Windsor RFC has welcomed news that the proposed new clubhouse plans have been approved in principle by The Crown Estate. This follows approval from the RFU last year that outline drawings met the necessary conditions to adhere to guidance around areas such as the changing rooms, showers and bar.

Windsor RFC has been working very closely with Mark Baines of Hunters Architects to reach this stage after several months of consultation. The club now intends to initiate the planning process with The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead prior to a more comprehensive fundraising campaign over the course of the 2022-23 season.

The current proposed designs (subject to change following conversations with both The Crown Estate and local council) will allow the club to improve the facilities on offer to our current members as well as establishing the clubhouse as a more welcoming space for new members and visitors for many years to come.
