We are fully inclusive and encourage Year 6 boys and girls of all abilities and experience to join us and give rugby a go. We have new players join us throughout the season and our players and coaches will show your youngster the ropes and help them feel part of the team.

Training:

Training takes place on Sunday mornings at 09:30-11:00 from September to the end of April on the Home Park sports ground in Windsor.

Our coaches are all volunteer parents/guardians who enjoy the game and are keen to get involved on the pitch and who are also trained in first aid and safeguarding.

The U11’s play contact rugby and training is designed to build a foundation of rugby skills and confidence through a mixture of training and fun games. Our overall aim is to develop a team ethos that is underpinned by the Rugby Football Union core values of:

• Teamwork

• Respect

• Enjoyment

• Discipline

• Sportsmanship

Tournaments and Matches:

We play friendly matches with local clubs and enter Festivals throughout the season. The matches are competitive and provide a great opportunity for everyone to take part and enjoy. We strive to do our best, but don’t get upset if we lose!

Off the pitch, there are lots of opportunities to meet-up with team-mates whether it be in the clubhouse after training, at various social events organised throughout the season, our annual end-of season party or the minis tour, where we all go away for a weekend to play rugby and do other activities.
