Windsor Rugby Club

For the 2024/25 season, the 2nd XV are playing in the Counties 3 Tribute Berks Bucks & Oxon South league. As such our fixtures are primarily played across Eastern Berkshire.

The 2nd XV join the 1st XV for training on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Selection is managed through a mixture of Spond and Whatsapp and is normally announced on a Friday afternoon.
The 2nd XV offer a great pathway for Colts to graduate into Senior Rugby and also offers a route back into rugby for returning and new players.

Management Team

Cookie has been a member of Windsor Rugby Club since he started playing at the age of 10. He follows in his Grandfather's footsteps, who played for the Old Windsorians Rugby Club in the late 40’s/early 50’s, by playing his trade primarily as a lock forward at Home Park, though he came through the age groups as a winger and has since played in nearly every position for the club at various levels, including the 1st XV.
Cookie has been Captaining the 2nd XV since 2022.
