Last Sunday it was the annual Berkshire RFU Lunch to present awards for the County’s Honda Volunteer Awards as well as the Club Awards.

Windsor RFC had been awarded the Berkshire’s Annual Social Media Award for 2023/2024 which was presented to Mclaren Madamombe. Well done to all contributors especially Rohan Lee, Olivia Brooke and Anisha Oram who were unable to attend.
The award will be represented at a League Lunch next season.

The following also received their awards at the lunch.

• Tom Codd
• Mark Baines

Other Club winners were:
• Sharon Richards
• Anisha Oram
• Andrew Bailes.

Many congratulations to all the winners. The awards are well deserved.

Special mention to Chair of Men’s Rugby Andrew Bailes who made it to the final four for the County’s Honda Volunteer of the Year Award. The winner was judged by the RFU.

Dames and U17s represent Berkshire ( can you add the photos?)

Many congratulations Dames Captain Manon Bataille, Corinna Herriot, Beth Jefferies, and Lily Cox for being selected to play for Berkshire Ladies in the Gill Burns County Championship. In a tough group featuring Kent, Surrey and Buckinghamshire the ladies did the club proud!

Many congratulations to Toby Baker, Jamie Lawson, Jacko Stone, Randy Karize and Noah Sleigh for being selected to play for Berkshire U17s against Middlesex and Oxfordshire at Maidenhead RFC.

Love Rugby Summer Camp starts at Windsor RFC:

This Thursday was the start of the Girls Love Rugby Summer Camps that will be running at Windsor RFC every Thursday from 6.30-7.30pm during June and July.

First session there were over 15 girls. Well done to Becs Curley, Damsels Manager for all her hard work organising the activity. Many thanks also to Laurie Hilton and Chris Calver for their efforts coaching the girls on the night.

Windsor RFC Dinner and Dance – Friday 14th June 2024:

• Ticket Includes:

o Coffee and Petit Fours
o Ice Bucket with 4 Bottles of Wine per table of 10.

Windsor RFC Fun Day 30th June 2024:

The Windsor RFC Fun Day will be taking place on Sunday 30th June 2024. A big thank you to Barry Jordan for his hard work organising event.
