This is the first weekly update of the season. To ensure that members are communicated and kept up to date on club matters there will be a General Management Committee Update which will be published every 6- 8 weeks.

HOME PARK UPDATES: Following the works on Pitch 1, Pitch 2 and the Training Area, the pitches are in a much better condition. The club would like to thank the Senior Men, Dames and Junior Age Groups for not training on the repaired areas.
The Pitches have been marked out and will be ready for the start of the season. The Men’s first Home League game will be the first match to be played on Pitch 1 on 9th September 2023.
Training must not take place on the repaired areas until the beginning of September.

The club would also like to thank all those volunteers who helped put the posts back up on all the pitches.

THIS WEEKENDS RUGBY ACTIVITIES: This Saturday the Men’s Senior Squad have a pre-season friendly against Winchester. Kick off at Home Park is 3.00pm. The bar will be open From 1:30pm onwards.

I know that the players would welcome any support on the touchline.

RWC 2023: WORLD CUP ACTIVITIES: The new TV has been installed into the clubhouse and improvements have been made on the sound system.

More details to follow in due course on the activities being planned by all sections of the club.

NEW PITCHERO WEBSITE: The new website is now live. McLaren Madamombe, Director of Marketing, has done a great job and the new website is a great improvement, everything that we have been asking for.

The hyperlink in the membership section links to the GMS membership page. All you have to do is select the appropriate membership and payment option.

DONATIONS
This section contains the link to our donations partner CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) and can be used for VP or other donations to the club. Donations can be made with or without selecting Gift Aid also as a one-off or regular payment. If you are a UK taxpayer your donation is increased by 25% at no extra cost to you by selecting Gift Aid.

Men’s 1st XV League Lunch Saturday 9th September 2023
On Saturday September 9th 2023 the Club will be holding its first Home League Lunch of the season when the Men 1st XV play Grove.
